+fabulous february+

you know how much i miss blogging. no you don't. i didn't want to go through the hassles of blogging because i had to. i just didn't muster enough stuff to blog. just check out my tweets to know more about my life, yeah?

in a week's time, i would be embarking on my in camp training, my first one! (considering the one last year i deferred when i was one week into the program), which makes it pretty exciting because i can finally take a break from all that running around of singapore, and stay in camp for all i want. of course, missing out on internet, information and the entire world would mean i could have to hide in the shells of the army, the gates of hell, for a week!

till now, i still can't figure out why they don't allow us to bring in our own laptops, etc when the whole world runs on 3G (4G is coming out pretty soon!) i mean, we gotta keep improving, right? anyway, i don't want to blog an entire entry about national service all over again, you know how i can rant about it all day and night.

it seems like CNY is only three weeks away! and i have totally no clue what to buy, what to expect, because this 5 huge days of ICT is totally on my mind. i guess that gives me enough reasons to go shopping for more clothes because i need new clothes for the new year! throw in a few new gadgets and technology to usher in the tiger!

hello nokia 6700, goodbye nokia e63.

i know, it seems like i'm downgrading my phone. i think 6700 is quite a powerful tool? though my initial choice was blackberry bold 9700. the promotion ended, so i ended up with this one. maybe next year when i get to upgrade my plan again, i will revert back to qwerty keyboard! for now, its back to dear finnish brand nokia.

+long weekend no more+

you know i woke up today, thinking it was friday, a holiday. i went back to sleep. then i woke up, again, looked at the new calender, its friday, 8th! no more holidays. well i can't help it. the past two weekends were awesomely long and relaxed and its really addictive.

its january now and the month looks long and really good! okay back to work.

Tuesday, January 5

+new year, new beginnings+

we are into the fifth day of january already. well, at least it is here, in sunny island singapore. how has the past four been? bad for me. fell sick for the past three days, not a surprise, i'm always down after a heavy drinking session. i guess new year doesn't change things quickly altogether.

the air still breathes like the same in the morning, with the sound of birds and sound of motor vehicles, smell of grass and occasional carbon monoxide, the sight of sleepy children dragging their heavy feet through their school gates, and people headed to work, all prepped and starched.

one significant thing i'd notice is that my youngest brother is finally wearing long pants to school! i think he's quite excited about it, wait till he complains about the weather! and another brother is in the army now, his first day today! i hopes he enjoys army, since his NCC days in secondary school. well, the other brother's basically doing his degree, i guess the same thing eh? i don't really care much about his school stuff.

well for me, the same job, packed with different agenda this year. the new colleagues are giving us a whole lot of stress lately, and i think its really good for us! it pushes us even further. now i got so much to think about, going back to school would be the last on the list of things to do this year, not that i suck in studying, i just don't really enjoying having exams.

you know, setting new year resolutions might sound cliche, it really works if you pen them down and look at them everyday. i'm sure you'll finally achieve it, be it this year or next. well good luck in trying to complete yours, for now, i guess its bed time.
