+anticipation+

it really takes a strong mind to overcome an event. a simple story told can overpower a weak mind like how a gust of wind can howl that little trees off their roots. life always brings us surprises just like how events these days change so quickly, they get forgotten easily as well.

forget that first paragraph, as it totally makes no sense to this entry at all. my thought are running wild, crazy, incoherent due to the lack of food and cranky weather. im actually surviving on a drumstick i had at six till now, and i cant wait to go to bed.

a bloody long day tomorrow, not that long, just some company event that is going to take up most of the time around the island. hopefully the weather would be kind on us, not like how it tormented us today. and the barbeque is going to be a blast, how i look forward to seeing everyone again, having fun and having time to bond, talk and share ideas.

alright, all these thought better be put to rest, cause i might not be able to wake up in time. and pray that massa recovers real quick.

+reward trip - kulai+

the past weekend was spent at malaysia. kulai to be exact. it was a past event location by the seniors two years ago. this was a reward trip, so everybody was there! i even skipped my examination for this! OMG im crazy.

the resort was more for singaporeans who wants to play golf. i had a go at the driving range, and boy i must say, golf is difficult to master! unlike soccer, basketball or tennis, this is a lazy sport, but if you get the hang of it, you find it rather pleasant. the whole sport is actually simple, but it really involves plenty of space to build, and the facilities are on the high side, compared to common sports.

and there was plenty of bonding with the seniors, some water sports, table tennis, table soccer, and plenty plenty of drinking. a short getaway is always the solution to a stressful month. the reward trip served its purpose! i hope for more, and i know the targets are going to be higher this time round

+falling sick again+

my body immune system must have taken a toll from all the viruses there is around the air these days. it seems like the viruses have mutated so rapidly they have infiltrated into my system every other month.

i guess my body has already weakened, after all these years of living in such a stressful, and unhealthy environment. every time i get these torments, i always feel like the world is such a horrible place.

the only thing i hope is for a better body, and therefore, i get a stronger mind to deal with all the things that i have to go through. that would mean starting a healthy habit and diet, to go along with the healthy lifestyle which i am going to adopt. i wish everyone a healthy year ahead!

oh my god! exam is exactly one week's time! how? how? how? im barely one quarter through my thick pile of notes! i think tutorial's working for me, but i need MORE TIME!

oh my god! i think i get this depression every week. this feeling of not earning enough money then the whole economy starts to escalate! this insecurity and the urge to push myself forward, and spending more money in the process. i need MORE MONEY!

the weekend awaits! oh my god. i think the week could not be any longer than this. probably one of the busiest weeks of the year. so what shall i do this weekend? probably the same old routine activities maybe? running out of ideas already about where to go, what to do. probably chilling out is the only good thing to do at this age! so let the weekend begin! (considering the whole day tomorrow taking lessons)

+the feeling inside+

i really think my blog breaths too much negativity, too many sad facts of life that has caused one to become emotional, irrational and unable to smile again. i really think staying happy has become one of my most important priorities in life.

its easy to say 'i want to stay happy', but who truly is in the state of 'being happy?' i realise there are so many things in life, that we, as human beings, are unsatisfied. its probably human instinct to want to find fault in things, rather than sit down and appreciate what we already have. it must be this trait, that we constantly hunt for success. the hunger to push on for more than what we can never imagine. we are naturally procrastinators, and finding every single task difficult to accomplish, while complaining about it becomes an easier task after all.

well, too much preaching from the boss lately, pertaining to the states of mind of a person, and how it affects performance. i think its affecting me pretty badly of late, so bad that i think life is gloomy! certainly my life at this current moment is not as rosy as it is supposed to be, definitely not how someone at my age should be going through, the prime of my life.

smile, think positive, laugh over insane acts. i've tried. they stay for awhile, then it wears away like morphine. the pain comes back to haunt again, like a virus mutated and eager to attack again. gosh, someone help me.

+revenge of the fallen+

wow. the critics have proven it right. many people have been putting it on the top of must-watch movie list. the rest of the world have been anticipating this sequel to the first movie released in 2007 just like anxious relatives waiting for the result of a critical operation, outside a operation theatre. i'm sure there are no surprises which movie i am trying to tell. i have just caught transformers 2 - the revenge of the fallen.

now that it has been released, since less than two weeks ago, i'm rather positive that at least one-third of the world has caught this movie already. another one-third must be waiting for the crowd to get lesser, while the rest of the one-third maybe a mixture of those who wants a piece of the DVD release two months later, or those who are purely not interested in robots and action.

the people around me have told me so much, and some of them even catching it more than once. i'm sure the fans of transformers will continue to multiply, just like the recent spat of H1N1 virus. for me, transformers will continue to live inside of me, like a kid always fascinated by the world of toy cars and automated figurines. i must confess, that i have not been a fan of transformers when i was little. watching the comics and cartoons in the past only meant like any other shows i used to watch and pass my time, but the remake of the comic actually make me like this whole story again. or you could say parts of this movie, just like how people can team up together and make things work actually fascinates me somehow.

overall, this movie can actually touch your heart, make you laugh with a clever sense of humour, and if you enjoy action, this is a really good movie to catch with a few good friends. i'm actually kinda glad the movie didnt go too deep into the love story of sam and mikaela, if not the movie would have been rather boring. so if you are still stressed over work, this movie could actually be one good way to de-stress and bring the laughter back!

you know, its been weird lately. i have been thinking very much about my future. yes. quirky. maybe change IS coming. maybe it HAS arrived. maybe i should, spend more time thinking about it. because thinking about it has made me grow more white hair. thinking about it actually strikes fear in me that i actually want to run away. we are all afraid. fear of not being about to stay happy. afraid of walking out of the comfort zone and do what others don't enjoy. i'm actually enjoying the thinking process. so much so, i need to put actions into these thoughts. because these thoughts seemed so surreal, yet happy.

i think i need support. friends, or motivators to push me make these thoughts into actions. i need i cannot wait any longer...
