i just hope my dream is big enough so i can actually spend my entire life building it. i hope to have such a good dream that one day, i dun just have to go to bed to realise it. actually, dreams aren't that bad sometimes. another long day tomorrow, call me when you see me!
this habit of ours has gotta change. dun say later, do it NOW! well, if it was so easy, we wouldn't be called human beings for nothing. born lazy, born to be relaxed, and happy-go-lucky. but still very fresh being 24, i would discipline myself from now on, not to procrastinate! less facebook-ing, more interacting with people during the day! they say when you turn 24, you ought to find love already! where is the love? no, no, im not desperate or anything. i thought god planned all these for us, while we are here to serve our purpose. just wondering when my turn will arrive. with all these bad habits, guess it wouldn't be so soon! =(
anyway, this chat is one of the weekly nonsensical and non-constructive ones. i realised i have not been making a sale over the week. more surprisingly, i have not been working as hard as usual! ironically, my working hours have increased. it seems like i have not gotten used to the change in strategy. time and money are running out very quickly. this race against these two factors seems like a risky task to take at the moment. without risk, there wouldn't be satisfaction. i just wish everything would turn out well! i need strength again.
today was the first day working on the new project. i must say the results werent great as expected. but who would expect day one to be successful anyway? im sure there are more chances to fine tune our mistakes, and hopefully, one day, we would succeed.
i have been 24, for the past 24 hours. ironically, i dun see any difference in my life yet. LOL well, of course, change is slow. if life was to change at that instant moment, i would be freaked out. being 24 means i cant do things when i used to be, 23. it also means i cant be talking like i used to be, 23. it definitely does not mean i cant go where i used to like, being 23!
well i think i have not kicked that childish-ness in me yet. change is slow, of course. HAHA another excuse of procrastination. well i'll see how i'll try to balance that child and adult in me from now on. for now, i'll enjoy the rest of my 364 days as the new 24 year old. happy weekend!
i dunno whether its the trend in japan, but the various shows i'm watching revolves around marriage. i think japanese view marriage as something they would engage early. though they seemed to be a relatively stressed country, they want to get married early. so they dont have to be waiting for their kids to grow up when they eventually retire. they want to still have energy when their kids grow up, go for their second honeymoon.
one interesting event i've noticed is that they have events to match make couples quickly. similar to speed dating or online match making where they pair you up with another girl through various tests. in japan, they put you through this programme, whereby you get to know various girls through various activities. that way, you can interact more and at the same time, know more about the other party! super cool!
however, with all those attractive events going on, it seems like many japanese are still not finding their right ones. they get married within weeks, and realised they are on their way out of a divorce without 3 years. im sure this phenomenon is not a rarity among many nations. however, back here in singapore, couples normally take a slower approach. they go in a relationship for a longer time to get to know each other more, before they decide whether the other party is the right one for them. they continue to find and find, change partners until they finally settle down. by then, they would be at least 35. then they complain, then they continue to sulk. by then, 40 already. LOL
find a partner, get to know each other for 6 months, can get married already. if not, how do lawyers get so rich?
i shant bore you with how to get in love. but there are ways to deal with a broken heart! here's a few tips from yours truly, watching how my friend actually met with difficult times like these..
1) be happy! dun think about the sad old thing. it will never work. stop sulking. stop whining. do things that make you happy
2) think positive! dun be negative about falling in love again. think the next one is on the way..
3) get into another relationship. the mind works in a funny way. when you focus on your present one, you'll forget the previous.
4) get a good read! a good read relieves your mind, spirit and lifts your mood. a good read replenishes the energy! read a good book!
5) talk to people. ask them why, why not, how, how come? when you sort out your thoughts, you'll get over it.
okay those are really just off the mind. i think its pretty straight forward but makes total sense to me all the time. alrite, time to catch some rest over the mahjong.
i must say my boss is quite a good speaker - one that makes you enthralled in his speeches you wont feel like yawning; a motivator - one that makes you want to go out and talk to more people, make your clients happy and make yourself happy in the process; a charmer - girls love him! guys admire him as well! he's such a great leader i think he reads us like a book; knows when we are down, how to motivate us, and when we feel we need a break!
i think im going to work harder in may. april isnt great at all and we know it. its not the way to reciprocate the efforts boss puts into the trainings!
i shall not go deep into the various stars this team has created. but lets talk about paul scholes. the one and only. he is like xavi in barcelona. if only both of them were from the same team. his passing is simple, yet magical. if you've seen his execution of his passing, sometimes you wonder if he has been doing it all his life. his technique of his strikes are magical as well! still remember his only goal against barcelona in 2008. fwah, just spectacular. well not everything about him is that fantastic. sometimes he can bend the rules, he goes for bad tackles which causes him to get sent off. but he's a good man off the pitch! he doesnt go for parties and is a good family man. just cannot imagine what a perfect footballer he is.
anyway, there's another team on the favourite list! barcelona. this spanish team has so much history i think the other spanish team real madrid can fight with it. but real madrid is so 'capital' lah. dun like. barcelona has its own language, not spanish, but some other spanish language. well the team has been in top form of late. i guess previously it didnt do too badly as well. captain puyol has always been outstanding. in midfield, xavi and iniesta god-like in their passing, in attack, eto'o and messi enough to torment any defence.
hopefully the one and only red devil meets team on the favourite list again this year. before that, both must win both their tie against their opponent in the semi finals first. lets just pray and enjoy another exciting finale
today's entry shall be something general. when i mean general, i mean something random. something random would mean something like being happy, how to get to the top, how to make your wife happy without having to buy her presents, life as a whole, why boys love soccer so much. LOL. i think you get the drift. being random can mean anything. being random can be so boring, yet so fun at the same time.
its may already. time flies so quickly. i remember listening to the radio last year when the DJ mentioned 1st of june 2008 as being half of the year gone. in the financial year in my company, 1st may is half of the year gone! omg, im not even close to halfway towards my sales targets this year. i really need to change my strategy towards working!
soccer at the cage this morning. more than 25 people playing on the same pitch. WAH! imagine how long we waited. luckily it was 3 hours. not too bad. first few games was good but fatigue-ness kicked in and everything went haywire. hopefully tomorrow's 2.4km run wouldnt be such a screw up as well. the other time i took my IPPT was back in feb when i had my reservist. well, i wouldnt blame the weather, because i guess tomorrow's weather would be worse. i guess i didnt want the SILVER bad enough. now i want it badly!
okay its past midnight already. i gotta wake up before the television plays the nation anthem. good night!
