+pissed+

sometimes somebody could incite you with something you couldnt be bothered with, but when he keeps ranting about it over and over, you could feel very irritated with him. well i was rather irritated by this aunty who temps with me at work. she keeps talking in malay with the colleagues and the instructions werent passed down. and when i asked her, she says, "nothing lah". when i faced a problem and asked, the permanent staff would say "she didnt tell you? i told her already." i feel like slapping her already lah.

anyway, went for the second round of night classes for my m9 course. didnt really got to know more, but it did brush up some unfazed questions i have over the weeks of studying. i have been slacking too much lately, and its obviously not very healthy, and useful to my life. im so going to practise more and get over it come june. and hopefully, life does not get too tough by then.

next week's the final week, and i got to know more perm staff who came from Philippines. they were very friendly and we exchanged background, cultures, hobbies etc. i love meeting new people from another country. its such a nice feeling, and how can i explain how cool it is. i want to learn thai so i could actually use them when i eventually go over for a holiday or something.

+airport surrealism.+

i really love how things are going on at T3. the world of surrealism; guests, airport security, aeroplanes, watching cable tv on comfy couches, air stewardesses, not feeling hot at all etc.. compared to my previous job, okay two different worlds. and most importantly, T3 is so near compared to stupid lok yang road.

anw, the gist of today's post is not about some boring shits i used to write, well, this one is pretty shitty too. okay its getting to a point when i dun know how to continue. i think i found a reason to work at the airport! HAHA. okay not really very important to all of you. but im still going to be a financial services consultant, please do not associate it with a financial planner, cause this dude said i was going to be a planner and laughed it off. idiot. seriously, i can explain my job-to-be in times to come, but hey, please have an open mind.

btw, i think this girl in my office is so pretty when she smiles. and she purposes ignores me when i want to ask her a question. i guess that is so prevalent with girls who think they are pretty, well she does have a very beautiful smile. =/

+the big perfect picture+

im probably going through a not so pleasant phase in my life. so if i tend to speak with a pang of lime, please, show some empathy on this dude. well, i have been thinking, balancing my life with friends, work (if it still exists), i realised my past 23 years of my life, i have not really been doing these aspects very well. as a matter of fact, i suck at it.

we all have this benchmark we want to be sitting above, somewhere within the comforts of our limits, somewhere not out of our league. we want to achieve so many things within the hundred years of our life (probably shorter with the different social and environmental reasons), and this means we got less time to actually do them. my boss used to tell me, normal people study, get a job, get a girl, get married, have kids, then the kids grow up. they retire, then its time for them to die. it seems like a normal route, but its not easy to achieve with the current state of living here in singapore.

sometimes we think, over and over, before doing something. i mean, its not wrong to think, once or twice, but thinking about it for weeks and months, is outrageous. well, life's too short for regrets. easier said than done. lol. what isn't, really?

the few movies i've caught over the weeks have laughing matter which keeps releasing my laughing gas. i need a refill! the last movie i watched was 'drillbit taylor'. well, this bodyguard idea didnt strike my mind when i was into the first fifteen minutes. but the way directors think these days, are pretty common. well, some writers have this style too. i don't know what its called, but basically telling two stories, then finally linking them up linking up a big picture when showing you the different pictures to the puzzle. i guess thats how american shows these days sell, in this case, bullies. have i shared with the netizens of blogger how i got bullied and helped to cheat in an exam at primary one? well, i was bullied, and no one was there to help. and the bully picked me because i had nice sausages for recess. =/ im so glad i grew up tall and strong to fend off some of these idiots now.

im officially 23. the age where everybody tries to get a degree, get a girlfriend, get ready for 24. and then at 25, get married? thats the 'perfect picture', i guess taking up the polytechnic route, i already resigned my life to taking a longer route? well, all routes lead to rome, so i guess i will definitely reach my destination in no time.

+changi airport!+

the airport temp job starts this week and i really hope this 'project' really ends fast. (cause i got my impending financial job which is due, and i think im going to screw the second paper big time. can't seem to concentrate on the studying.) i really love the working at the airport though, seems like one of the most favourite temp jobs i've worked so far. well, the work environment isn't too stressful, and the colleagues are really helpful, though most of them spoke malay, cause apparently its their native language. now i understand why some people feel irritated when we keep speaking our native tongues within the same ethnic group. we stay in singapore, be a little considerate!

its the beginning of the month where most of the people go for short getaways after half of 2008 is gone, and i seriously think i need one, though i have not really been working too hard ever since getting out of army. well, its really tempting for me, especially when i see people carrying luggage around the airport and having the happy smiles on their faces. (who isnt excited on their trips anyway?)

btw, if you happen to pass by changi airport, you can always give me a ring! especially if you are flying off, i can send you off! =D

how exciting is the airport? just EXHILARATING.

+mambo jambo+

i realised that if you stopped talking about something, others would stopped too. is that a contagious disease? but if you start talking about it again, after a long break, the gossiping comes back, like an epidemic. how i wished people were less gossipy, and mind their own business for a little. the power of words, i've learnt.

went to mambo jambo on wednesday, after a six month hiatus! its been a long time since i've partied! well, it wasn't very fun, but i did miss partying all over again. no worries, just having fun. though it was tiring and taxing for them, to party after work, i -guess they did enjoy too? after that, caught the second half of the chelsea -liverpool champions league game. it was a quite a fair game, though chelsea did have more attacking edge and rose to victory in the end. so it is going to be my team since childhood, manchester united vs that seemingly intimidating chelsea again, on the morning of may 22. took the morning bus home, when everyone was preparing to go to work.

caught harold and kumar with roy over the weekend. didn't know what the rest of the gang was doing, seems to be uncontactable, but everybody has their time right? anyway, it was hilarious! thought i didn't catch the first installment, everyone was saying this second one was funnier. i did have my share of good laughs, and quite a peaceful and quiet saturday night. caught the last few minutes of the man utd-west ham game. quite a confidence booster for us. i guess thats how the weekend's going to be nowadays. we are all growing really old for fun activities.

it was your birthday over the week, i really hoped you enjoyed yourself. i know you would. you are definitely capable of handling things now. happy birthday (:

another week, probably wasted, as usual. but i'm starting tomorrow, i am going to work as temp at the airport! okay what am i doing with my life these days? kinda wasted but hopefully i do well in the financial services industry. that would be my last chance at trying to do what i want, if not, i'll go back to probably where i came from, where i belong.
