1) real men, fake orgasms - a play which i think i will love. haha. anybody want to catch it with me? its cheap. $30-$40.
2) hairspray - a move in the form of a musical. i think i will like it too. especially with all the singing. and dancing
3) 881 - a movie in the form of a story of getai sisters. again, i think i will like it. singing, dancing, hokkien songs. very catchy too.
interested parties can contact me via sms, or msn me at my address which you can find from the left column. be quick! because the shows are going to end already.
the songs playing on the radio are as soothing as usual, the rock songs just hitting the right bones in my body today. must be the effects of the partying on wednesday night. it might be the last clubbing this year; our last chance would be next week, thereafter, most of us would be involved in the rat race. mundane, boring, and super tiring.
how i wished i hadnt wasted so much time in the past. they say its not too late to start, but hey, its always too late when you start to think back and regret. i know its too late to cry over spilled milk, but who doesnt like to start things over, with time, place, ambiance and every other factor staying the way it's supposed to be.
i saw this new paper size issue of comex as i was looking at this old issue of straits times (i think its a pull-out from tuesday's digital life). i saw so many gadgets that didnt appeal to me last year, but suddenly they're like so cool! it just feel better to own a technology with you, because you know you are keeping up with the times, and you are super hip with it. first, i need to get my hard drive up, then the ram, after which, i can add a digital camera, my personal first. quite tired to borrow from my brother lah, you know you cant owe people things forever even when its your own family.
so i guess its going to be quite a big spending this weekend, even when its one week away from my ORD. time to celebrate. time to rejoice. time to get back to my old self.
rio de janeiro (brazil) - for its nice samba music, carnival festivals, and breathtaking brazilian beaches.
tokyo (japan) - for its rich asian culture, music, and other talents they produce which i shall not mention.
istanbul (turkey) - for adopting half of european and half of asian's culture. Mediterranean food and wine!
madrid (spain) - for its rich history, daily bullfights, spanish babes and the many old churches which still stands.
california (u.s.a.) - for the nice west side view from the beaches, hollywood, L.A. Lakers, kobe bryant, and the orange county.
other places i would visit include, paris, munich, perth, south africa.
im not saying this is no good. but please, have some vision. vote for the one who really sings well. not vote because he/she is your friend. even if they've won, they are only believing that they got more popularity, not singing talents. in the end, the 13 year old prodigy won. i've got absolutely no comments.
safra bridge run was fun! it was long that last year, and there were more people from army running this time. we arrived late, yet there were still throngs of people stuck at the starting point, talking. i dont know why. haha. we are so lazy on a sunday morning trying to kick start our day. the first 8km was still okay. then started to feel pain of my right hamstring. we were walking for the next 2km. girls just ran ahead of us. the last 2km we decided to chiong all the way.
there was no rain to hamper our tired bodies. but the lack of exercise, and the lack of warm-ups kill. seriously. time to train. and im still thinking whether to take up the standard chartered run in december.
i dont know how long the whole treatment is going to take because it has been going on since december last year. im so sick hospitals, clinics, medical centres because it brings a very gloomy and spiritless feeling altogether. i never felt happy leaving those places except for times when i got a medical certificate and didnt have to report back to camp. the other genuine times i went there was always the departure of somebody close, or something bloody happened to some friends of mine.
i never expected to see my BMT buddy at the skin centre today. it was more like a "eh hello, what are you doing here?" kind of question. it seemed like so much has happened, yet we didnt really know each other at all. i guess it happens to most people, both of you go through so much, and after some time, many things have not yet been done. you realise you cannot qualify this person as a friend just as yet, but he is more of an acquaintance because he knows something about you.
it was a 15 minute talk about army (as usual), and nothing much blossomed. my first friend in pulau tekong, those sad old days; digging trenches, building bashas, sleeping together. memories that can only be remembered are happy ones. those which is so real to you are the ones which hurts you the most. thanks for the memories kelvin.
blackburn have also robbed 2 precious points from the gunners, who performed better than their rivals. goalkeeping errors cannot escape the fate of jens lehmann. on the other hand, my red devils have only got 2 miserable points and only recorded one goal in 3 matches. what a bad bad start. however, im sure all is not lost at the start, yet.
i have started a new file for football manager 2007. every start of the season i would start a season to follow up on the new season. hopefully all goes well.
you dont have to tell me who's the biggest fool of all

and bring my baby back, bring my baby back to me
do you know the girl is still crying
do you know the boy is still hoping
do you know the world is still spinning
do you know the ice is still melting
do you know the terrorists are still killing
do you realise that the flowers sparkle after the rain
do you realise your can see your reflection in the train in tunnels
do you realise that the people always look at you whenever you enter a room
do you realise that clubbing is not that fun anymore without the cigarettes
do you realise that my blog is no longer interesting without you reading
jay does director for the first time, and i must say he did quite a good job. twists and turns within the movie. it packs a generous amount of romance, with a spice of humour, and a little too self complimentary i must add.
many have told me about this movie. there are more bad things i've heard. just go watch it. im sure you wont regret how he (the director, jay himself) tries to portrait his side of story to you. not forgetting to add in experiences from school life! how i miss school. the happy old days. haha. maybe thats why i like this show so much. music school! catch the show!
soccer is back. everything we've wished for is back. shout. rant. punters, get your cash ready. time to fall sick, watch late night soccer, report sick. whatever. wear your favourite colours on the weekends. stay up late on wednesday and thursday mornings for champions league.
i just hope my passion for soccer will never die out.
1. we are a tiny red dot situated somewhere south of malaysia. sir stamford raffles found us in 1819.
2. we used to be part of the all-great british empire, and we are the most important fort here in asia for the english
3. we have 4 main races here, mainly chinese(77%), malays(14%), indians(8%), eurasians(1%).
4. we are known for our clean and green, and the water's so clean you can drink it off the tap!
5. national service is compulsory for all male singaporeans, and permanent residents. =] welcome to singapore.
5 things that makes singapore special
1. we speak more than one language; we speak english, chinese, malay, tamil, japanese, korean, french etc just to mention a few. however, malay is our national language.
2. variety of food! because we have so many ethnic groups coming here after 1819, there are food we have here from many parts of asia - nonya kueh, chicken rice, laksa, roti prata, ayam penyet just to name a few.
3. influx of "foreign talent" that makes this city so metropolitan, or on our way to be.
4. our government fine us so much we are what we are right now. clean and green city.
5. best airport, best port, singlish. all these cannot be found anywhere else
just some interesting facts i realised while doing my national service. its been a while since we stood in attention to recite our pledge and sing our national anthem. it really brings back many old happy times from the schooling days. you all should really treasure it. times like these wont happen in working life anymore. happy 42th singapore. here's to better security, higher pay, and more pretty things to happen to us.
i got more time to ponder about the future, however daunting and blur it seems now. i just pray things would work out fine when the time comes. i know praying should be the last thing i ought to be using; it really useless and stupid to employ such a childish idea..
i realised that life in singapore was so much different as compared to other countries which didnt require as much time to work, work and work. places like france, scotland, switzerland, carribean, taiwan etc.. people actually pay more attention to enjoying the perks of life, appreciating the little scenery around them.
i guess in singapore, only the rich or the ones who didnt have to slog their lives out can actually do that. think driving around the mountains and enjoying the sea view. drinking wine, eating grapes, under the warm orange sun that is setting after a hot day.
we have to go through 10 years of basic eduction where you eventually get your o levels. then you venture out between a levels and a diploma. after which the boys get taken away for a two year hiatus on their studies, which in many cases, they do not have the spirit to study anymore because they feel so old to go back to school all over again.
if not, we can jump straight into the rat race, where you climb the ladder of success. you either work for the government, where you get taxed, cpf-ed. in the end, you get very little money you use to pay your bills, buy your house, car etc. guess what you're left with? some money you think its better to save for your kids' future. you dont really have money for yourself.
you think for awhile. this sucks. this cannot be it. i must work harder. you take up two jobs, even three for the very garang ones. you realise you get taxed more. you get even lesser. you got no time to rest. you start to lose your friends. you think how come the harder you work, the better the richer people enjoy their lives. you try your hand on the weekly 4D and toto and the monthly big sweep. you realise the chances of winning is as big as one cell. its pathetic.
i wished i would stop thinking about all these. its very scary..
i am listening to my ipod. i am on my way home after watching "who slept with her". i had a very fun day with my gang. i do not care if you tell me you had a busy day. i seriously dont know who the hell you are.
my bus finally came after this crazy old man came talking to me at the bus stop along upper thompson road. if the bus stop was not crowded, i might consider giving him a punch. LOL. what a day..
