we celebrated our 21st birthdays this year, getting the liberty to vote, and also the liability to get ourselves into jail if we get into all sorts of trouble. im sure it feels good to be 21. its THE hippest age to be in, because after that, you are going to feel so old standing in front of your brothers and sister because, you are no longer a teenager, nor are you going to feel very proud getting red packets every year in front of your folks. you will need to make quick decisions, decide on your future, and plan for whats ahead.
we are finally full-fledged medics, and now, officially the troopers of the singapore armed forces. operations one after another, we are soon getting used to getting stuck in the company line with more than 100 other mates doing whatever kills time. a very good time to bond though, nobody really sits down and talk to each other. lol.
like i said, its quite a boring year to begin with. i guess thats about it. i hope whichever god is taking care of me shower me with more luck and everything in everything that i do. 9 more months to go. ORD is definitely one big event to look forward to in 2007. enjoy the final few hours of this miserable year nitezens of blogger!

what would you be doing on the day christ was born? the recent years have been mostly been touching on the real meaning of christmas, a time for gathering with friends, chit-chatting like the usual good old days. what would this year's christmas constitute? more wine-drinking, christmas caroling at my friend's church, or a time for loud music and dancing? we'll see how things go tomorrow when we get there.
the past week was not really fruitful. packing my stuff in my room, re-painting the walls which was last furnished probably 2-3 years ago. well, not really done much packing thou, because i merely shifted the whole pack of stuffs around the room, making it look newer. i've been really lazy lately, though the leave is more than 2 weeks.

to the friends who see me on the streets, please do say hi when you see me. i have problems recognising people because you all keep changing faces with time. you dont have to treat me like glass. haha. again, i dont bite. =)
i was at the bank today and this old couple were screaming at the poor receptionist behind the counter. the bank has rules that sometimes even they cant bend, because your wife's account is not shared with you. you cant punch in the pin numbers even if you know it at the back of your head. screaming only makes you look worse because there are at least another 20-30 other people waiting for their turns at the queue.
well, we have to watch our actions in the public, especially in places when there are policemen or security guards. you wont want to get caught in a sticky situation like those.

mambo jumbo was not very fun ytd. there were too many people simply because there was just too many. it was worse than chinatown during chinese new year. and it definitely doesnt fell like hell of a happy experience after all these months. started to get tipsy after one jug, which wasnt usually the case. haha. gotta beat my streak of 11. however, i got my financial status to reconsider. no more childish play, no more fooling around. ky's going to grow up in 2007. because he is not going to live for a very long time.
family day at discovery centre was dampened with pouring rain. it was freezing as we took a close look at how singaporean we are, the need for national service, and so many other reasons which makes us uniquely special. still suffering from the hangover, everything seems like a mist out there. saw the usual camp mates in casual attire, and many of the commanders as well, with their families, some of which much of a surprise. there's this senior with two kids and he's same age, while our staff has a kid which looks exactly like him, and we all say he's going to turn into a beng like his dad. LOL. left early because we were too bored with wasting our off in the little part of jurong we were so unfamiliar with. thankfully daw was driving and we managed to get away in the rain. lunch at bukit timah was great and now i am all fresh and clean and happy after eating. its time for bed. =]
i still think i didnt get a satisfactory answer the other time. wad you are going to tell your group of many friend doesnt really matter.
i think i need lots of cash to turn my fortunes because my 5 year financial planner tell me i have to earn so much more than my current stupid allowance is giving me. come 2010, i should be able to get half of my money i desire! time to get serious about earning money!
