+rants. this time its not that difficult to blog+

and so you thought november was hard to pass by because you couldnt see somebody, its going to get harder because how crappy the regulars is pushing the NSFs up the wall. problems keep surfacing because of one or two black sheep along the way. it gets the whole platoon into trouble, often resulting in no night's out, no welfare, or worst, restriction of privelages. we feel that life is unfair, just because we are small ranked doesnt mean we get bullied all the time right? thats actually not true, because our juniors got it better. we realised they just dont like our platoon. we point fingers at each other, get into minor fights in the bunk, get all fired up, and in the end nothing gets done.

all those does not sum up how i feel because i had it worst. i had the weekend all planned in my mind. it was perfect. now i have another free weekend. and many many more. and you've just given me a flawless christmas, 21st present. i do not know the exact reason for being so damn hurt for everything, but i just dont feel like doing anything right now and sleeping's just a waste of time. good thing there's the dec 2 ops and we get to waste half a weekend in camp. but in another two weeks we get a 15 day break till next year. now i gotta start thinking how to swallow such a big chunk of time, doing so much thinking. because i think, and we know, nothing comes out nice now.

the songs playing on the list just made me realised how stupid i'd become. my favourite food and places only mean empty to me. my wart infection on my leg does look better, but im stopping my medication because other things that is so damn hard to swallow than the stupid antibiotics. wa ha ha ha ha. im turning crazy.

one has to climb the rungs of the ladder to get to the peak. one who doesnt will suffer the taunts and manipulation of the powerful and mighty. its good to attain a certain power once in a while, but when you start to get overwhelmed by this huge force, its very dangerous because its very easy to get tempted to bully.

i hate people who abuses this power given to them. so if you have this power, PLEASE, DO NOT ABUSE IT. thanks.

+parkway parade+

another boring saturday yesterday at home clicking the mousey, except for the evening - a family getaway on a rainy weekend. haven had one of these when the whole family could gather and have a little meal and talking, which we haven been doing for quite a few months because of different commitments we had; we usually have one of these at least once a month in the past. this time, it was at parkway parade. a new look, more shops, and of course, brighter lights to appeal to the young and the old at the same time.

did i mention i used to stay in the east? every single weekend were spent at the amusement park at parkway during my primary school days. at the time, funland was a very popular place for kids like me, at that time, who would queue up for the carousel, the mini ferris-wheel and the power-rangers merry-go-round. i would always be the one who would beg my parents for $2 to change into tokens while my brother would go queue up. the feeling of elatedness can only be understood by children i guess. its always special, being able to choose your own animal to ride onto, or play the favourite character.

we would then go for some dinner at the food court at the basement followed by some grocery shopping at the then yaohan. now all these were gone, due to other shops having able to fetch a better rent and popularity compared to the ones which can only bring you lots of joy. two big supermarkets, cold storage and giant, the latter also owned by the first, open at the new mall. its not difficult to see shops like topshop, mini toons, 77th street which appeals more to the young adults like us. because there are no trains which links to the mall, there are shuttle buses now which fetches customers to and fro. good thing there's one which comes to my home. hopefully they dont terminate the shuttle because parkway is one of the very special ones which brings back much happy memories.

you guys should check out the new renovated place. actually, its renovated for about 2 years at least already. just that i haven gone there for quite some time. and give me your feedback!

+the dark month+

its barely half of the month november, and im feeling like time is freezing on me. probably because i have been doing the same old things for the past few weeks whilst in camp as my stupid wart/corn viral infection still isnt healing as quickly as stipulated. the only way i can walk is to put on the corn caps which adds a certain pressure on my wound so that i wouldnt scream in pain when my weight falls onto my soles. now, im walking with a slight limp just to avoid hitting the sensative spots on my feet. and my dear gf is busy mugging away she has no time for me. boo~ =[

well life just sucks this november. i cant play soccer, club nor shop. but i can play my boring games, listen to my radio, sleep my life away and treat as if life is not revolving. oh by the way, i just got my chemical romance's the black parade, evanescence's the open door and pink's im not dead albums. all three rocks. cheerios

+stronger than ever+

i was just thinking after reading nic's beautifully written experience about her other side of life which i have not seen. i realised how fragile, sometimes, real genuine friendship might turn into a pair of blood-filled hands with a parang which comes down your back. i also realised how one or two little actions which you can never do, because once you do it, there will never be another word needed to be spoken of.

it makes you think a little, cry over it; or laugh about it, thinking how foolish you were, start talking about it with a few other friends, and conclude that there can never be best friends to start with. well, there hasnt been an occasion when i had taken a stab on the back by any of my friends (maybe i havent even realised i was till now, hopefully i dont), and i hope things dont go in that direction. "what doesnt kill you make you stronger" - im sure you are much stronger now, nic. =]

im still nursing my wart infection over both feet and it still doesnt seem to heal after all these weeks. my minor operation is scheduled in mid-december, hopefully all goes well and i get to play soccer all over again. i miss running around whenever the platoon can go to the courts to start kicking around, while i can only lie in my bunk reading books, listening to the stereo.
