+first book out+

for those who are still in dreamland, im already enlisted for national service. 14 days spent with the same boys and the sergents. an interesting batch of diploma holders i haf to go thru the next 11 weeks or so with; the crappy ones, the quiet ones, the garang ones, the wayang ones.

life of an army recruit starts from the botak hair u see yourself every morning, the morning 5 basic exercises, to the cleaning up of your bunk, the tekan sessions from the sir and sergents, the i-dun-wan-to-do-this-but-i-got-to-do-it-because-i-haf-to feeling haunts me every single day. the mini route marches we look forward to because we get to sing out the notorious army hits. of course, the fundamental physical training every single day to squeeze every single fuck shit out of you.

by dinner, you are already half asleep, thinking how the day is going to end. end it quick somehow, rain, or some big shots come give us a lecture or something of that sort. on certain good days where the commanders dun like to give you shit, you get to do your own stuff in the form of admin time. *yawns.. the same old thing goes on and on for 2 weeks. how boring it can be.

let me give a little introduction on my section mates.
bed 1: garang freak. previously frm ncc. ocs calibre
bed 2: this guy is a lazy freak. kpkb kia. only know how to talk but no action
bed 3: thats me. not garang, not wayang. just plain normal
bed 4: my buddy is a porn freak. everyday talk about girls
bed 5: we call him chao keng warrior(ckw). this guy got prob with marching and always giving us probs. maybe slow in picking up stuffs, hopefully he settles down quickly
bed 6: my sec sch mate. not so garang, somehow like my type.
bed 7: ckw2. he's the shy type who tries his best to fit in.
bed 8: sp course mate. also loud and talkative
bed 9: this guy is the timer plus porn king 2. forever girls too
bed 10: he's our star player. 10 pull ups not a prob.
bed 11: a little plum. a little noisy. a little kpkb.
bed 12: dun know why i find him easy to click with, maybe he's the kind who gives you the feeling that he's sincere

the other section people not really talked to them. but some of them stood out.
got one hokkien peng, everything talk hokkien. very interesting la. sing oso wan to sing hokkien. give command oso give hokkien.
another one, for 2 weeks, he has been on att B. never really participated. lol. what a freak. fucking waste of time there, but he's damn noisy during meal times.
this other dude. my friend's friend. he come call me say he see me before. only to realise i've seen him too. very cool dude. u see his previous photos you think he's one chao ah beng, golden streak with long hair. whatever you can imagine those dudes strolling along the streets.

there's plenty more unique characteristics of boys to dig out. and not forgetting that life in national service after the first book out would be more hellish. there's definitely more shit and hell to go through before we become real men. till den we shall see.. how my new chapter in life goes
