i haven got time to watch a decent movie lately.
all the work shit and time constraints..
my work schedule has made plans to do many things
clash with so many people lately..
apologies to those i rejected for the different activities..

so it was. the movie we caught "wars of the worlds"
heard so much about it. thou i got the stupid book at home
im such a lazy bum to even read it even thou i got it when i was in pri sch
i shall try to find the book in the shelves of my little library that i have at home
and read it once its found
the reviews haf been good.
all the machines i vividly remember appearing on the cover of the book
appeared so real in the movie.
read the papers saying those machines are actually made life-size
in a place called Woking somewhere in England
i shant be a spoiler. go watch the show.
to find out how the aliens eventually died.
humans prevail again. =]

work as usual. they closed the other room for training
so we got shifted. smaller group and they expect more sales.
boo.. managed to squeeze in one.

so many things happened over the weekend

25 june
happy birthday to tw, mich, mel, joanna and bro mav
spent the day with the dudes celebrating tw's bdae
settlers cafe was much crowded even thou we booked,
at the last minute..
mendokusai. had to change plans
walked to tcc at boat quay
where roy started ranting about his ns life
lolx. seems like lots of fun yah
bro came over. two birthday boys ard. great.

walked over to marina via raffles place, esplanade, and citylink mall
ndp rehearsal commencing thus most of the roads were temporarily blocked
causing quite some traffic (both human and motorcars) ard
the new marina square haven been there since they renovated
those old shops were there anymore
and there's so much changes to it, i hardly knew where i was
they turned the place into some family-oriented place
where the family could jus dine in and eat, talk, bond
thats what my family did.
aha. parted with the guys who had dinner somewhere else.
while the liew's had a little chit-chat bonding session at swensen's
celebrated bro and mom's bdae
haven been doing that for years.
maybe it was quite good to start doing it once again

dad treated us to bowling.
ha. the only thing i rmbed about my dad was that he was a good bowler
cuz i rmb hitting my toe with the bowling ball which he kept in the storeroom
that was years ago.
this bowling experience was the first for the two young ones
their first attempts at the heavy cannonballs
well i had fun. laughing and talking. hopefully they did.
saw the rest of the dudes playing pool. saw nick with his clean shave.
haf fun dude. probably they are already sleeping in camp now.

26 june
sunday blogs are usually the boring ones.
about me blabbing about how mundane life was
well you know when its sunday when u see the neighbourhood lively again
the neighbourhood malls filled with families eating out,
centre stage of malls filled with kids shouting and enjoying
churches everywhere filled with devotees who believe in christ
and maids everywhere ard town
everyone in their lazy outfits at the markets and hawker centres having their breakfast
only some dressed smartly for work, trying to ~~eek~~ eke out a living

i love sundays.
because of how slow life gets on this day
its also the only time when couples can meet.
the time when the house gets noisy because everybody is back
the time for everything as a family.
but i know im gonna hate it soon
it is also the day where nsf got to report back
and the day where kids start to do their homework, revise for exams

bud definitely the day for reflection, recollecting the past week
and planning for the new week ahead..

first. the racist shit is back
the new batch of people working
got this bunch of indians
tatoos, lard, cigarettes

the malays and chinese are stil quite ok

supervisor is obviously pushing his luck
got some sales pushing for more
my luck ran out today la.
cant blame me. and the sight of the new batch turns me off
that office gives me no motivation to work

the agent has yet to call me.
im looking for a new job.

the bus ride home. friday nite. everyone's out
and by the time i knocked off, everyone wanted to go home
all in one freaking bus
the 1 hour ride was hell.

obviously spending their final school break out
playing chinese songs on their phone
from bugis to hougang

my eyes: this fat dude sitting in front of me
therefore no tv for the entire ride

my nose: bangladesh workers on their way back to their worksite

stinking office workers going back all stuck inside one small bus

thanks to tw and jl for spending a day out on the beach with me
the others backed out for some reasons in the end
which im not quite too sure
at least we could do wad we want, go where we want to go
played some basketball, den soccer,
had a swim or two
managed to sit on the beach looking out to the seas
say some things to the sand and watch them drift away
i felt so much better having a day out on the secluded island

dinner at seoul garden
steamboat was the main thing we decided on it
marina bay one was too cheap for us.
lol. the food there wasnt great
seafood isnt much our favourite anyway
had the usual chat, had fun, chilled out
after dinner, we were so full we couldnt barely walk
i must say i wasnt eating to my full potential
like wad i used to
maybe not feeling too good lately
maybe we've all grown up
and the tummy knows when to stop?
our stomach are so bloated up we couldnt go anywhere
headed home.

as we continue to suss out the true meaning of life
continue to survive on the little boring bits of wad life brings
i have been trying to find what i want

we go thru life like walking in a mall
we patronise many shops like meetings lots of people
some shops appeal, some dun
some friends touch our lives greatly
some jus haf no apparent effect over you
eventually wad u take out of the mall is most important
choose who you want to befriend, and ignore the rest

im writing wad my brains and fingers tell me to
ignore this is u feel like this is wasting ur time
cuz like u, im going thru a hard time
im so glad its finally thursday
and i get a day off, after working for 4 days straight
1 sale in 4 days sums up my mood.

i miss the clubbing nite 3 weeks ago.
thats how long i haven drank, danced and go ding-dong
i wonder when the next one is coming..
plans to relax and enjoy a day at a secluded area in sentosa have been made
join us in experiencing another day of sand, sea and the sun

so we were finally there
after all the prep work

they were there before and had so much fun
before i went there to see it for myself

i was early for work even thou i walked to bugis frm cq
amazing walk. it was peak hours and there were office men and ladies
trains surely packed. city hall was so crowded. raffles city was packed.
a new batch of new telemarketers
my company is so desperate for pple they hire any tom dick and harry
and everyday i see pple quitting
such an irony
in another office those pple are working so hard for sales
while at my side where the students are
we jus take things for granted

we face the same old singaporean us when we talk to them
they give us the reasons like we would give to others
bud "you can haf many reasons, bud u cannot haf any excuses"
this is so true. one of the inspirational talks by another supervisor, ronald
sometimes i find ways to counter the reasons they give
sometimes i jus let them take control over me
and let the potential clients slip by
chances are everywhere. opportunities to make money are always avaliable
its whether we managed to capture and seize every chance we have

yes. the day has arrived
the weekend.
saturday. the sun, the sea and the sand
ok i wasnt quite tanned.
maybe not enuff tanning lotion
well we werent exactly tanning
no vball, no soccer ball
only watching pple playing
the beach was so packed
you cant literally find a spot
for tanning. for quiet relaxation

a group of dog lovers came and settled down in front of us
a total of 8 dogs.
there was a family of 4 huskies, another husky,
one jack russell and two other dogs which i dun know which breed
anyway managed to play with some of them
huskies are so fun to play with
jack russells are cute.
and dogs are definitely man's best buddies
these dog lovers treat their dogs like their lovers,
their best friends, their children
and definitely discipline is the most important factor trainers shld give

well the dogs soon after for a cleanup
while we hanged ard a little more for some sunshine
cleaned up before we headed back to the mainland
headed to chomp chomp at serangoon gardens
had a feast. mixed grill, stingray, kang kong, chwee kway, hokkien mee
two jugs of sugar cane, a bowl of dau huay...
the more i go there, the more i fell in love with the food there
thats how nice it is. go try it there.

it didnt feel like a monday
bud i somehow know it exists
cuz the blues never fail to gather on this day
so here's how monday went..

supposed movie marathon was cancelled.
no movies for this very day
tink they forgot the timing whilst playing board games
at the shop at holland v
wasted my day off.
a little disappointed didnt get to watch anything
bud i guess thats life.
she's a bitch. a whore. a fucking witch who never fails to give us shit

guess wad.
the sisters called me whilst i was thinking how to burn my afternoon
met up. caught up. and i guess it wasnt that bad after all
watched them play pool
had dinner at pasta where i met jy and cm

im officially sick
after eating too many dumplings yesterday for dinner
simply because i couldnt be bothered to even get out of the house
to get myself a decent meal
serves me right i guess

that flu caused my whole day to be in a mess
first i was talking to my customers with this block nose
den i was trying to stop all the mucus from flowing out
finally the supervisor gave us a "motivation" talk after lunch
as usual things dont work out when you are sick and pressured
sales dont jus come like that
0 sales in 18 hours
fucking good.
boss gave final ultimum to pple who are simply too hungry
and eating eggs everyday
im so full now..

watched iron ladies jus now..
super nice show.. it was funny. thats all i can say
my perception towards gays haf changed i guess
more open-minded. seen more transvestites now

now becoming a familiar place

its the weekends again
the time to enjoy
the time to relax and
the time to shop shop shop

the sentosa plan proposed on sat might be cancelled
due to some last minute committments some dudes haf
troublesome man.
no more tanning for quite some time i guess

work sucks as usual
no sales for the whole week now
and it makes my position in the company rather shaky
wonder why they are not doing anything to remove me
and i've seen everyone moodless during work
no sense of motivation at all
well some crazy girls stil manage to squeeze in sales everyday
girls always got this thing going on around them
be it school work or money-making work
they seem to be composed and focused in wad they do..
i guess that wad makes women so special sometimes
their confidence and sense of responsibility

joined some of the guys for a little chit-chat session
turned out only 6 of us
bud it was quite alrite
finally settled at the coffee bean at boat quay
been there quite a few times
bud seen quite a few big changes to boat quay lately
left the scene at 1230
didnt manage to catch the last bus
bud luckily got onto the night rider
which sent me somewhere in sk
where i could walk home frm there

sometimes it not very good having jus a few bucks in your wallet
and u see the cabs fly by and you are jus helplessly watching
it really freaks u out cuz alone walking along fort canning
where things can get spooky in the wee hours

bud the recent exposure to more night life
has made me realise wad the adult life is
the type of life some people lead
music, food, arts, fashion all rolled into one place
and the way taxi make their cash
the cab drivers lining themselves up outside the usual hangouts
along orchard and some coffee houses too
for now, i haf to start to get used to the different changes in life..

its always one of these times you start to feel sappy
because of a song, a show, a movie, some commercial you watch..
wadever it is.. it leaves you with a sweet memory
something you wouldnt forget at least for a few days

the couples on the streets, on the bus, in the trains, in the office

our clubbing trip got cancelled cuz everyone was too tired to go out
next time make sure we dont do anything for 3 full days
cuz we are financially strapped, and physically drained too.

sentosa suntanning trip was partly successful
cuz the second half of the day the sun never came out
only managed to suntan for less den half an hour
bud it was good enuff for a start i guess
got a few chicks "fated" to see us
joel didnt grab his chances again

went over to geylang for dinner
the land of whores
the number one red light district in singapore
the place you where you can
do wad u wan
say wad u wan
play whoever u wan

first stop was some dim sum shop
located ard 2 bus stops away from kallang mrt
the food was very nice.
maybe because i haven been eating canton food since my primary sch days
dad used to bring the family with my grandma to yum cha
now my grandma is bounded at home
all the plans had to be cancelled
anyway the money spent was really quite little compared to the quality of the food
amazing how they managed to keep afloat

walked around the dark alleys
the streams of desperate men walking up to the girls
finding and searching
choosing and picking
after about an hour of whore-watching
we decided it was time for a rest
stopped at the famous dau huay shop at lor 9
again they were selling such quality food bud offering low prices
headed home after that.

the trip today made me realise..
you haf to see it for yourself to see how rampant the society is
how these people eek out a living
how they actually do their "business"
comparing to the ones i saw in london a year ago
things are quite different here
as long as you satisfy your customers and you get wad u get
i guess its fine whichever way you choose

bro's coming home after his POP today
and my uncle frm aussie is coming over for a few days
guess my bed is gonna be his.
i rather not be home man.

no more pop songs for me for at least a week
before i get sick of these songs
luckily my bro got a whole pile of cds full of techno
no exactly those hard-core techno which gives u the pain in the head
bud mostly dance songs which makes u wanna groove a little

my defination of this word here means looking down
or feel that somebody is not compatible with another
the act of a person who thinks he/she is too high class
and refuses to share the seat or table with someone else
he/she thinks is of a different "class"

human beings normally go in packs of twos, threes, four etc
these groups of people normally form because of some common thinking
and when they see something different in somebody
we tend to draw a line whenever we see someone with a different background

obviously we are all guilty of this
bud recently i was a victim of this shit
apparently, someone, some girl
thinks she's so damn high-class
fucking attitude cuz she studied in a jc
and cuz she's in a university
decides to go all the way
and doesnt mingle with the so-called lower class people
who studies in poly or some other schools which does not involve a degree
this problem lies most probably with the individual

racism
this second problem happens so very often in a multi-racial country we live in
because all the different races tend to haf different cultures and background
we tend to act differently, mainly due to some beliefs which we haf
europeans tend to let their children to live independently
chinese want their next generation practice respect and filial piety
malays want their kids to have the best of their childhood
while indians, in my opinion, let their offsprings listen to wad they wan them to do

recently at work some guy frm another race
not to mention which one, bud its damn obvious if u read on
started to complain stuffs
demanded this and that jus because he tinks customers haf every shit right
to request for things
yes i agree to a certain extent there can be flexiblity in wad we can do

a very bad day
woke up at 935.. rushed for work
knew i was gonna be late
luckily big boss not here
only the supervisor is there
this supervisor is the one with the biggest heart in the company
late for 15 mins stil can happily go sit down
unlike the others.. heard one guy got sacked cuz late 10 mins

got scolded by this customer
cuz he simply thinks customers are always right
one thing to tell him:
you dont own starhub
timeslots are fixed.
we cant change the timeslots cuz you are not free at that time
if you are unhappy
you can always not subscribe

met up with some of the dudes who were going into army next week
dinner at ichiban restaurant at ps
all of them were late as usual
astro boy roadshow on at ps.
amazed at how astro boy got all the kids on their feet and dance
moving about with his trademark actions

dinner was fun cuz we had no pressure ordering
simply cuz we didnt really look at the prices
jus point and ate wad we cld
nabeyaki salmon set was great
try it people.
walked over to mastro bistro at cine
they had some dessert there as we were chit-chatting at usual
gals apparently all went home
walked over the orchard towers area to check out some transexuals and gays
some hanging ard here and there trying to get business
took a bus to tpy
where i parted with them
most of them went to rard's place

it was a damn tired day for me
and lots of cash spent lately
its time to start my saving once again

its the weekend!
the case of soccer soccer and more soccer
the weather's perfect
the clouds gathered at the right time
the sun came out for only a wee bit jus to warm the body up
started to score for a long long time after a goal drought
my legs are getting out of place cuz i normally raise the wrong leg up
miskicks here and there

had dinner near rard's house after a refreshing dessert at the market
zhi char to be exact
long time haven been eating rice and vege with meat and stuffs like that
the last time dates back to my primary school days
where the family would head to the coffee shop at my old house
eat as a family on weekends

i guess times haf changed..
and we cant expect everything to be like last time..
i miss the old days
the small kiddy childish old-fashioned geeky me
the boy who didnt haf the responsibility and burdens like now
growing up and having to make decisions
maybe im just not ready to make those committments

except my grandma..

im feeling relieved.
the weekend is here.
i got another sale today
im so glad i started talking normally again

no more post clubbing syndromes
two days of sleeping
finally got my normal life back in place

the boss moved the whole student grp to the main room
so that we could be supervised more
fortunately boosted by sales

i proved something right while working
