and today, all the shit comes to me

woohoo.. guess how many times i swore
lost count
everytime i swore someone looks at me like something happened
yes many things happened thruout the 3 hours i sat there
making freaking calls to jurong residents

bad day #1: a day w/o hp
u only start to realise the importance of something until u lose it
how true. i miss my fone.
luckily nobody called. no business loss
which also means nobody bothered about me today

got so many pple who just went deaf
and couldnt hear a shit wad i was trying to say

+rain. bad sales. bugis junction+

its a sunday. its gss going on.
there's nobody at home waiting for me to call
thats why sales sucked for me
bud probably cuz of the stupid leads they had to give me
cuz the reason they gave was they haven got new ones
yet they expect sales?
tink im the only one in there with an empty sales sheet today
i hate sundays where i gotta work and everyone else is out shopping

lunchtime was pouring. hao was kind enuff to drive us over to bugis junction for lunch
love sitting in pple's car man.
watching pple drive is such a luxury
how i wished ns ends and i get to own my freaking car
dad's probably gonna pay the deposit
and i gotta pay my own installments after that

met the same old dudes i was with ytd at bugis junction after work
spent an hour or so reading books and mags before waiting for them to arrive
dinner at mos burger. checked out the chicks there
and more along the way
getting more sick of bugis cuz im there practically everyday
bud its always good to go with a few friends
sit down. haf a chat or two. walk ard. checking out new styles and designs
life seem to pick up after work.

+Great Singapore Sales+

the day was pretty fine
headed to town with tw, rard and jewel
the day was hot, sunny and bright
the crowds werent intimidated by that
everyone merely headed indoors for cool air

met the guys at scotts.
far east was the first stop.
tw was loaded. wanted to clear some cash there.
no stuffs caught his attention there
ooo.. btw saw mei outside 77th st
haven seen her for years..
grown quite abit.
continued our window shopping at wisma
no stuffs either. bud short-listed some tees
parted with rard and jewel, who had a soccer game to attend to

resumed our shopping trip
pacific plaza, wheelock place
everyone was busy shopping.
looking ard, snatching items on discount, making a scene out of nothing
saw some starwars stuffs ourside lido
they were re-enacting the scene where anakin fought with obi-wan
damn funny cuz they were all doing it in slow motion
ended up in far east where i had ljs for dinner
cuz everywhere else was so damn crowded and queues lined up outside
back to topman where tw eventually got his two tees
amazing how cheap topman tees were after discount
wait till i get my pay cheque man
and start my spree

tired after the long day of constant walking
probably take an early rest before work continues tml.

everything is so unpredictable
everything is changing so fast
nothing ever stays the same for long now
thats life man. thats how things go..

if you wan to know about something
you gotta keep yourself updated with it
if you wan to continue the relationship with someone
you gotta keep in touch once every few months
if you wan to keep up with the gossip
you gotta look into the news and tabloids for it

things dont usually go the way you expect it to be
the favourites dont usually go thru
the ones you dont usually take notice of tend to go all the way
probably cuz they are not in the limelight
thus no pressure when performing
the same shit happens to people
like in a competition
the favourites or the strong contenders get the audience looking
while the not so popular ones hold on steady to their spot
making it into the finals

she finally pulled thru by being the dark horse

life's been pretty amazing
lets sum it up in brief

another sale brings my total tally to 3.
thats stil 3 short of my quota in order for me to start earning my commission
the only one who got sales last nite in the office im working in
kinda motivates me for more sales to come

joined the rest of the guys to catch the champions league final match
deciding where to watch the big match was always wad we wasted too much precious time on
chijmes was too "high class" for us
cuz we were apparently too broke for any
saw one of my bosses walking pass.. LOL
freaks me out at times like that

played pool to kill time whilst waiting
watched the match at kopitiam near bras basah road
crazy liverpudians and a pinchful of milan fans crammed the small area in front of the big screen outside the kopitiam
lots of blacks poor like us adding more mist to the area
one black particularly stood out. we nicknamed him saha
he was obviously drunk from the way he acted and talked
he was talking in some funny language till we finally understood something he said
"if the game gets tough, i'll get down to the pitch"

the match started
milan outwitted pool in the first half.
sheer class and magical passing broke the liverpool defence easily
first minute goal by skipper maldini threw the italian half of the stadium into frenzy
milan controlled the first half well
another two goals by crespo gave the surmountable lead
milan 3 goals up at half time
liverpool fans dejected at half time

half time. a small fight broke out between some drunken blacks
probably exchange of words and some blows
police arrived to resolve the small matter
some transexuals and transvestites visited the kopitiam for some supper
they really look hot. dressed scantily and picking up at the dudes eating there
bud very disgusting cuz they stil look like guys to me

second half started. tactical change by rafa
the red half of the stadium erupted when the unexpected happened
3 goals in 6 mins brings the game back into contention
the score stays level till extra time
it was down to penalties. the second penalty i watch after the fa cup on sat
i could only say milan threw away their own game.

when we got there it was already 7 in the morning

tuesday has been pretty calm and smooth
no big news to share no pretty girls to wow about

life in the office is getting more and more interesting really
the kind of calls we get everyday is somehow getting more quirky
however most of the customers give the same old excuse every single day
we can guess wad they are gonna say when they dun wan it

oh the boss "complimented" me today in a negative way
in front of everybody. bud no names mentioned thou
bud some of them knew it was me la..
did something wrong. and i was everyone's EXAMPLE
no one's gonna make the same old stupid error i did anymore

oh read the papers today,
rmbed last nite's news mentioned something about BBC staff going on strike
cuz BBC sacked some of the staff
i mean, BBC is such a big company and a rather recognised one
yet the staff are doing it.. no wonder everyone cheered
imagine something like that happened here
singaporeans would be too afraid to even stand up for their colleagues
cuz they are so afraid to lose their jobs here
try SPH for that matter, if the staff tried to walk out
im sure SPH would never stop functioning
cuz there will always be staff inside there
holding on to their jobs
that's singaporeans really..

i was looking at carrie. thot she could go a long way to the finals

its a monday. its a public holiday. and yet i gotta work
how crap is that?
worked full day today.
sales werent coming in before lunch.
took a long break. lunch at yoshi@bugis with hao, my colleague
after lunch sales finally came
this china guy wanted to watch chinese programmes..
wahaha.. life is good suddenly
bud everyone had sales. so i guess it wasnt much of a big day
hopefully sales flow in everyday.
i know im still walking on tightrope

watched a beautiful mind last nite
as the reviews claimed. deserved the 5 stars
all the awards they won, including best actor, best director, best screenplay deserved their credits
wonder if i stil can get the dvd somewhere..

i believe god is fair.

btw, my fa cup final and sat's entry jus below today's entry
read it and haf fun..

woke up tired. cuz of the late night the day before
the aftermath of the match somehow affected my day
took the bus to work as usual.
this ah peh apparently tink he owns the bus
sat in between a two-seater
and blasted his old tape recorder full of hokkien songs
somehow wad was amusing was no one actually tried to tell him off

got to the office.
we were issued "special leads"
supposed to give us sales
and it did. i made one sale today.
bud it's supposed to be counted as half a sale cuz of the subscription fee
i dont care really. sales didnt matter to me anymore
rmb the girl i talked about on friday's entry?
i got an even closer and clearer view of her today
blushes even thicker. bud the concealer wasnt as thick
and she's so cute even the boss' tried to hit on her
erm.. not literally thou..
cute girls get the favour of the boss..
the boss said " for you i'll do anything.."
he said that when she was trying to get a sale..
ok i gotta admit. she is the PRETTIEST in the whole company

quite a few man utd jerseys here and there seen today
i guess everyone is mourning after we lost the important game last nite
wad a bad season we had..
i guess all of us are praying hard for next season
we seriously need to start winning our silverware
(thou the shelves in the museum at old trafford is already full)
i know they will somehow find the space to put more as time comes along

here's how saturday went:
took off for sat
coincided with soccer.
how nice. i missed soccer for about a month
lost some of the key touches here and there
didnt make an impact in the game just i would do as usual

well rain poured down on a fine saturday afternoon
soccer had to end early. wad a letdown la..
had dinner. bathed. started playing we8 at jh's house
it was pretty alrite.. getting used to how the game progress

watched the big match. gunners arse vs mighty man utd
had a goal ruled out for offside..
we were celebrating jus to realise it wasnt counted
referees were too good sometimes to see these minor angles
which only replays could show
thats why they are one of the best in the world..
we continued to press forward and created several key chances
only to realise our firepower werent strong enuff to terrorise the dark defence line

rooney, as expected, shown thruout the match
ronaldo on the other hand showed his magic on the left flank
cutting down both the gunners' options of playing wide out
rvn had a header cleared off the line by ljungberg during the 85th min
yucks.
that has to suck man.
full time scoreline remains goaless

extra time resumed after full time
we made more chances only to see the ball fly over and out
the match came to the final dying moments
reyes was sent off for a second bookable offence for shoving ronaldo
bud i guess thats jus time wasting la..
at least we wont haf to see his face for 3 matches starting next season
woohoo...

the final came down to penalties
ruud on for utd. he scores.
lauren for arse. he scores too
scholesy on. he shoots.
lehmann dives the right direction and keeps the ball out.
v. persie takes the second penalty for arse.
he sents carroll the wrong way and makes it count
rooney takes the next penalty and scores for united
ljungberg scores for arsernal. gunners lead 3-2
ronaldo keeps his calm and brings the score level
cole restores the lead for the gunners
keane takes the final penalty for united. he scores too
vieira with the winning penalty. he makes no mistake and gives ars their fa cup

we switched to another channel after man utd got their medals for runners-up

my stats read 0 sales /27 hours
and boss has given final ultimum to me
im so desperate for sales now!

time has been passing by so quickly..
and tml would be the 5th week since we finished our papers
that would mean im left with slightly more den 3 mths to my enlistment
how i wished i was called up during june
and i wouldnt be slogging my head out
and wont haf to look for a freaking job anymore

life's been pretty much the same for the new 20 dude
woke up late as usual
skipped breakfast like any other days
went online jus like wad i used to do...

work was pretty fun today..
first half an hour was briefing..

the boss was giving tuition on how to sell
made some interesting calls today
trying to sound very expert to the customers
bud they quickly realised i was a part-timer
LOL..

lemme introduce two collegues which i found really funny
the first one.. this dude.. i tink worked quite long there
was trying to struggle thru a hokkien auntie
he had to put down the fone unwillingly
if it was me, i would haf done the same..
really sucked at dialects

the second one.. was pretty much of a sell-out
she had such a sexy voice due to her sore-throat
and boy did she almost clinch a deal

oh, one more colleague, a malay chick..
she was also struggling thru chinese speaking customers
how interesting the way pple try to bluff their way thru by speaking broken chinese
thats why its so important to know as many languages here in singapore

today is the 1 day i shld feel very happy about
the day i opened my eyes to look at this world
20 years ago, i was forced out of my mom

sales stil stuck at rock bottom
today the boss hinted to me about the sack if my sales remained

im kinda glad life has gone back to the old days..
the lazy useless days of me..
sitting and lazing around the house waiting for meals to be served
occasionally helping out in sweeping the floors and doing some chores

the cost of living is so high and hard to handle for dudes like me,
holding a low income job, and having to pay adult fares
paying bills like normal working personels
so i guess its not very advisable to head out everyday to town or malls and walk around
only nearby malls and parks to frequent nowadays
like wad i used to do in the past..
the words of the adults come in very handy now..
we understand more when we actually face it.
the words of an older person which used to be thrash turn into words of gold

i learnt quite abit over the weeks...
the days i retreat frm the buzz of life
the times i had to live with a dollar a day
the moments of scrimping and saving up cuz we were too poor to afford even a decent meal
the problem with me and likewise for teenagers nowadays..
caught in the middle of childhood and adulthood
stranded not knowing whether its time to be mature and start thinking sensibly

tml's gonna be another working day
the new week might be another daunting experience for me
to break the egg of 1 sale.
and i probably gonna make do with the excuses singaporeans gotta give me when they reject me
for now.. lets pray and make sure life goes on well for us

as all of you shld know, my current cpu is down. due to some net virus which i cant summon my anti-virus progs to get rid of. bro's in camp, thus, part of my life is crippled. lets see how things go la.. probably im not so hooked onto the net so much den i used to be.. living life w/o a pc at home is definitely one needs to go thru.. btw im spending some time here a LAN shop somewhere in hougang blogging this..

actually lazing ard at home, reading the papers, reading mags can be some things to do too.. bud still, im bored and broke. transport fees killing me. btw, im currently working at my previous co, doing some telemarketing shit for them, promoting starhub cable tv and the maxonline. troublesome job. oh those interested, jus call my mobile. those who dunno, ask me. got some really good promotions nowadays which are like very worth-the-money.

life after poly is seriously taking a turn. thats wad we call a new chapter of our new lives? i guess this new chapter will be a dull one. wads so exciting when national services hits you right in the middle of your face? and my results not very satisfactory. dad has been nagging at me and im obviously looking at the routes i could take for my future. for now, everything looks fucking bleak.
