wee.. jus got to sg on sunday nite.. stil suffering frm jet lapse.. now its.. wed morning liao? hmm.. stil feeling a lil hyper at the moment.. the previous two days (mon and tues) was orite.. basically slacked at home.. didnt go anywhere.. jus sat ard.. unpacking my stuffs.. and my room.. telling everyone i was back.. jus doing wad i was doing when im having my holidays.. suddenly feel like there's no holidays.. and i had nv been to uk before... bud looking at the pics. .all the memories brought back and suddenly felt a rush of emotions.. man.. the pple there. .the weather, and the fun times the four of us had during these 6 weeks.. oh man.. its like a honeymoon.. wished we had spent 6 mths and not 6 wks there..

oh jus now.. sg suddenly blackout.. kns.. i was doing some stuffs on the com.. and "poof" it went.. no warning de.. suddenly the whole sk shouted.. the mama shops and coffee shops.. all shouting.. haiz.. jus came back den lidat liao.. wad a warm welcome ar.. anyway, kinda tired liao.. so.. cya mates!

woohoo.. wad a friday.. its the last day of attachment le.. feeling quite sad.. ytd england lost to portugal.. how shld i feel? despondent of cuz. went to luis' hse to watch the match.. got free beer. and luis made some pizzas.. its amazing how english pple make their own pizzas, and its tastes very nice.. chedar cheeze, the sauce, some pepperoni, green pepper, mushrooms.. wow.. the match was exciting cuz luis kept cheering for portugal and the rest of us cheered for england.. when owen scored the first goal.. luis was like. wad?! den postiga's goal.. spoilt everyone's mood.. extra time.. more exciting. and it finally came to penalties... beckham missed the first shot.. basically sums up england's performance.. sians... aft the match everyone was tired.. kept drinking and saying crap.. den luis sent us back home..

sat took the cab to heathrow airport.. checked in.. bought some stuffs.. my swiss knife got confiscated.. damn it.. they said it contains threat?? wtf la.. spent 2 days.. finally got to singapore.. stil suffering frm jet lapse.. i stil miss loughborough!!! and of cuz the pple there! the chicks and the hunks, the beer and the good life there haiz.. now stil dunno whether im in sg or uk.. the only thing dat i noe is the weather is hot.. so im in sg? well.. cheers everyone

its midweek wednesday! man im so excited cuz the weekend is coming and i will be flying back to my home country! bud i do miss the pple and the life here.. its total freedom.. bud the food here realy sucks.. oh ytd took a day off... to visit manchester...

woke up 7.30 in the morning, made breakfast, had garlic bread.. kinda sick of microwaved food le. set off for the train station at ard 8.30.. reached the train station ard 9.15.. waited for a while till 9.54 for the train to nottingham.. supposedly to take the train to liverpool where it will pass by manchester.. bud the train got cancelled in the end, so we had to take a train back to leicester, which we will haf to transfer to the train which takes us to manchester picadilly.. slpt thruout the 1hr 45 min journey there.. finally set foot on manchester.. by the time we reached, it was alreadi 13.21.. walked out of the station.. quite cooling.. cuz the sun was shining and the wind was strong.. took a bus (256) to old trafford, where my dream realy came true..

the majestic grey building caught my eye frm miles away.. immediately pressed the bell and we alighted.. walked to old trafford, simultaneously we took out our cams and flashed at the megastore.. went into the megastore.. saw $15 man utd shirts.. den realised all of them were XXL.. KNS.. they cannot ged it sold, so made them go on a sale.. the rest nice nice ones were priced at £40. bought sth for my bros there. .didnt reali got wad i wanted cuz they didnt sell anything nice there.. den went to the museum and tour...

took more pictues of the several cups they won.. the treble, premier league cups over the years, and the recent FA Cup.. and the tour started.. first we entered the stadium and got to sit on the "s" of manchester united in the stands.. where the guide explained a lil history and capacity of old trafford.. aft dat the real tour started.. we walked over to the other side of the stadium and saw the words "MANCHESTER UNITED" which was where we sat for ard 20 min.. took more pics there.. realised man utd had seats even for the disabled and the blind! its free yah! went on to visit the stands, the subs bench, the dressing room, the players lounge, the directors room, press area, woohoo.. its was worth the money and effort, and definitely a dream come true for all man utd fans.. took more and more pics of old trafford and finally left old trafford, took a bus back the city centre, manchester picadilly, where we did some shopping, no much shopping actually, cuz the english are jus so slack that shops close by 6 in the evening, so jus bought dinner, and walked back to the train station where we went back to loughborough via sheffield.. bathed and slpt dat nite.. and woke up all perked up and fresh tis morning..

i had an enjoyable day ytd.. and heard linkin park was in sg ytd.. two of my frens went.. and they gave good comments.. damn i wasnt there.. anyways.. life's like dat.. cheers and take care

oh man.. its god damn monday.. luckily today not wearing blue.. if not.. ok.. jus moved house over the weekend.. frm david collett to falkner court.. its ard 20 mins fast walk.. 40 mins to pull the lugguge and laptop over, esp when the lugguge is spoiled.. aft moving over.. according to plan we went to leicester for some shopping.. took many fotos.. cuz i jus bought 4 rolls of films! can u belif it? so we walked ard.. shops aft shops.. den walked to leicester city's football stadium.. WALKERS STADIUM!! took like 10-20 fotos of it alone.. the outside onli.. cuz cannot go in.. haiz. aft the leicester thingie. went back to loughborough cook some dinner.. den slpt..

sunday walked ard loughborough bought stuffs again.. sian.. den watched the portugal-spain match.. sad thing .. spain lost.. sian la..

wee.. weekend's coming liao.. so fast its thurs nite.. erm.. shld be friday in sg? well this week.. stil working wif soran.. the ever cheerful phd student im working wif.. everyday looking into the optical microscope.. can be a bit boring at times.. bud i've gotten used to it.. oh btw, soran had a bbq on wed nite.. which was last nite.. the four of us.. (guys) went to the bbq which was exactly where luis' bbq was held last week (the two of them stayed together).

as i haf said.. soran is very hyper type.. so he has MANY friends.. and abt 30 pple went? mixture of guys and girls.. didnt know he has spanish frens too.. making luis go crazy over them.. and his roommates who was chinese invited her chinese frens who were from china.. all doing phd.. oh man.. its like a small party.. i did enjoy myself.. im sure everyone did.. all had a few drinks, ate some food.. till late.. abt 2am den we went home.. soran called for a taxi cuz he was too drunk to send us home.. got back and bathed.. by the time my hair dry.. it was oreadi 4am.. zzz

slped till 10am today.. knew i was gonna be late.. prepared and all.. by the time i got ready it was oreadi 11.30am.. den slowly go for work.. soran was oreadi there.. he's tired too.. bud 11.30 is too late to do any stuffs, so he let me off for lunch.. aft lunch i went on to do some etching... and watched the england-swiss match in my hall.. england finally showed some fighting spirit and wad they could do in a euro final match.. and they tore the swiss side apart wif rooney leading the attack.. aft the england match we watched the france-croatia match.. the croats really put up a brave front, which i tink england has a hard nut to crack.. cuz they showed they can defend and attack well.. sians.. i tink im gonna slp soon.... zZz

its monday again.. the blues sets in.. stil haven got over the england match last nite.. i tink its the pple ard me dats affecting me.. everyone's toking abt it.. its where u r dat will affect u.. every english man is debating abt the beckham penalty.. sians..
reported late for work today, rebecca (my supervisor) was oreadi waiting for me.. erm.. not me.. for my log book.. i tink she's dissappointed cuz i was late.. bud she didnt show it.. ahah.. sians.. she's shacked too cuz of the match last nite.. anyhow.. i had a tiring day.. cuz david collett hall isnt serving the usual meals.. we haf to go to evlyn richards hall for meals.. and they only serve one meal.. brunch.. sucks.. skipped two breakfast and dinners (monday and tuesday) le.. dunno how to survive the rest of the days.. stil thinking where to go this weekend.. manchester maybe? see if soran can gif us a lift there..

today spend the nite watching both the grp C matches of the euro 2004.. kinda tired.. now the rest toking to the ngee ann poly students.. i shall go join them.. tok abt life.. haha.. cheers =]

these few days haven realy got the time and mood to blog.. so.. jus got onto the com.. decided to blog.. thur and fri was alrite.. working wif soran.. pretty ok.. had breaks thruout working time..

sat decided to go to nottingham.. actually was manchester de.. tw didnt wan to go so far.. and the journey there was long.. so blehs.. so many reasons la.. haiz.. lazy to say.. maybe tis sunday ask soran bring us there.. ok.. so we took the train to nottingham, which was like 20 mins away.. very fast reach liao.. took a few pics of the place.. walked ard the shopping centres.. bought a few t-shirts, walked again.. ard the sports shops, came across this shop called "soccer world" darn big.. three storeys, sold all kinds of sports stuffs, cheap and nice, stayed there for quite some time.. den it started to drizzle.. ran to victoria shopping centre, oso spent quite sometime there.. bought stuffs again.. made a visit to robin hood's statue, took more pics there, den we decided its time to go back.. took the train back, walked back to the hostel in the university, by the time we got back, jus nice the spain-russia match jus started.. spain won.. sians.. quite expected it.. aft the game, stayed in hostel den slp.. .zZz

today woke up quite late.. did some suntanning near the hostel, den went to town centre.. didnt reali buy much stuffs.. cuz most of the shops were closed by 4pm.. went back hostel watched another euro match.. croatia-swiss match.. boring match.. watched england-france match in the hall.. they showed it on big screen.. great atmosphere.. quite fun.. in the end england lose. made my mood go super low.. couldnt reali be helped thou.. i tink i will be darn moody in the next few days.. so.. haiz.. zZz

woo.. review of the past few days.. tis week, i was assigned to dr. higginson.. tis smart lect in lufbra uni.. she told me to stick wif tis phd student, soran.. damn crap guy.. oways tok to the four of us wan.. oways take break.. everyone in itpme knows his schedule, 45 mins work, 15 mins break, coffee + smoke.. lol.. i didnt know dat, so when he asked if i wanted a break.. i said no.. den he bth, cuz he needs his puff.. in the end, i finally said i wanted a break.. lol..

ytd went to soran + luis' hse to haf a bbq.. luis wanted it.. and soran was like.. he wanted a bbq, and he told me half an hour ago.. ahah.. quite a rush bbq, soran came to pick us up in david collett hall (the hall where we stayed which is in uni) and drove us to sainsburys to ged some bbq stuffs, and on we went to his hse.. his hse quite big, two storied, got quite a few pple staying there, got two or three chinese gals,luis, soran.. quite ok la.. the place quite cosy and nice.. den we finally started the bbq.. the wind was big, so it was rather diff to start a fire there.. cooked some german sausages, had a few chicken wings, drank some beer.. ahah.. toking abt beer, the four of us drank quite alot.. tw and jl even had red wine.. i hated the taste aft one sip.. yuck.. anyway, gc face turned quite red aft drinking some beer.. i had one bottle, den didnt felt too good.. drank coke instead! lol.. jl and tw started pouring beer and red wine into my coke.. and all started luffing.. in the end, jl got a bit tipsy.. tw stil ok. me and gc stil sober.. the rest of them, confirm got drunk.. cuz all started scolding one another.. all the fucking hell and fucking shit came out.. its amazing how brits scold one another.. so different frm sg.. ahah.. den we played darts.. and soran sent us home..

man, i enjoyed the bbq and im sure everyone did.. the bbq they had was rather diff frm sg.. maybe one day we try it in sg.. see how it goes.. bud sg weather so hot.. cant reali haf a bbq in the day.. well.. more beer and more babes shld do the job i guess... yawns...

today woke up quite late, cuz soran knew we were all tired.. didnt reali haf the mood to work today, soran gave me a few samples to test on the optical microscope.. boring stuff.. tw didnt haf to work at all.. damn it.. good supervisor i guess.. well.. now ard 9 plus the other three playing pool downstairs.. sians.. i go join them.. wahaha.. cheers

its getting hotter and hotter here in uk! temperatures rising up to 28C, reali cant take it anymore.. maybe got used to the cool weather here.. suddenly so hot.. kinda not used to it.. anyway, in summer, the guys go topless... the gals.. erm.. no.. jus mini skirts and skimpy outfits.. some of the gals nice la.. the rest.. haiz.. fat de oso not bad.. haha.. dunno y sg nv see these kind of cuties.. anwyay.. half working now.. the phd im working wif.. he's out.. and the machine im using.. someone's using it.. i hate sharing the machine.. so.. i jus take a short break.. life oways haf to suck when u're enjoying urself.. bored..the past few days was ok.. oh i jus got internet into my room.. means my laptop can surf net le.. haaha.. super happy.. and we jus got our NUS card.. the loughborough card which is like the admin card used in SP, pretty cool.. stil thinking where to go tis weekend.. haiz.. jus hope for the best.. euro jus ard the corner.. so guys.. ged ready! grab ur beers, relax and enjoy the show..

its a sunday afternoon.. hot and sunny.. girls wearing as little as they can, guys go topless in the hot sun.. lying on the green grass... its loughborough sport annual event today. 6 june, international sports event which features athletics frm all over england, wales and scotland.. cool stuff..

over the weekend i didnt reali go out.. cuz the others didnt wanna go anywhere.. sians.. so jus nua in lufbra.. didnt reali do much.. ytd we played soccer wif a bunch of chinese.. frm china. they're good.. they are fully equipped.. bud we're not.. so.. sians.. kena zam a few times.. legs sore.. very tired.. maybe i shld go for my dinner now. .its 5+ here.. dunno y they serve dinner so earli.. cheers

woohoo.. now is wed night le.. sg shld be thurs morning? ok update of bank holiday, which is monday.. me and jl woke up earli in his cuzz hse.. jl complained he didnt slp well cuz i snored too loud? lol... didnt realise.. ok so his cuzz made us toast and coffee.. so sweet of him.. we had a quick breakfast den took the undergrd frm blackhorse road to king's cross station.. via the underground.. met up wif tw and gc, we decided to tour ard london.. took the train again to baker st... bought the ticx for THE BIG BUS which is supposed to bring us ard london.. while touring, we plucked on our ear pieces and they gave us some historic information of each building which we went pass, so many dunno wad de building.. stil got peter pan statue.. lol.. den went over london bridge and tower bridge... saw the london eye, didnt manage to ged onto it thou.. wanted to go into london dungeon, bud the queue was too long.. so we jus sat on the bus for a massive 3 hours.. till the bus reached a full round.. den we walked down oxford street.. which pass by oxford circus, we had our lunch there.. mcdonalds... den went walking ard niketown, got alot of sports shops selling sports stuffs.. all very ex de.. den walked to chinatown, leicester sq, covent garden etc, den it was time to go back to king's cross st pancras for our train ride home.... got there.. met up wif jl's cuzz for the last time.. he chatted wif us for a while, before we finally parted each other.. the train was kinda empty thou.. den four of us played dai dee.. very boring stuffs... walked back to our hostel.. on the one hour walk back.. we bought pizza.. dat's our dinner/supper? by the time we got back to the hostel it was oreadi 10++. freezing cold cuz of the freezing winds.. quickly ate and bath.. den had a long slp..

tues morning.. all woke up late.. cuz not enuff slp.. too tired.. the previous day we walked ard london... man.. i swore i rmb how to walk ard central london.. got to work.. work was oways boring.. aft work, watched england vs japan match.. the match was 8pm here.. at city of manchester stadium.. the atmostphere in the hall was great cuz everyone is supporting england.. lol.. den aft dat we washed clothes.. den went to bed aft some dai dee....

wed morning, which was today.. woke up late again.. cuz too tired.. miss our bacon and sausages breakfast, had to settle for flakes and toast.. went to work.. today quite sian.. toked to soran, one of the phd student there.. he toked to me abt manchester, cuz he got his masters there.. den say abt getting married and stuffs.. lol. nice chat.. aft work today, gc and tw say its gonna rain, bud i say, the rain sure not so fast come wan.. in the end, we went to sainsburys to buy our stuffs which we need.. nv even rain.. wahaha... saint's the best aft all.. =] cheers all..

weeee.. back frm the tiring and long weekend in london.. ytd was bank holiday, dunno wad dat is.. bud its a holiday thou, means all the banks r closed? so a lil update of my uk trip...

sat, we tot of going to london, got to the train station, bud we found out dat the queue was a lil long and it was taking us quite some time to decide where to go and all those, and joel's cousin, who lives in london btw, couldnt make time out to pick us up.. so we jus bought the Great Saver Return tix which was to be used on sunday.. aft buying tix, we walked back to the hostel in lufbra uni.. which was like 2 miles away, bud wif the sun and chilly winds.. it was not so bad.. managed to crap some jokes..

sunday morning, woke up earli.. prepared all the things which i tink i needed to bring.. den went for brunch in the dining hall.. aft dat, walked the 2 miles to lufbra train station.. took the midland mainland to london st pancras.. the 2 hour journey was not too bad, no cute gers, no nice guys, jus plain grassfields and houses.. bud we got to sit together, so we played cards on the way there.. not so bad la... got there.. met up wif jewel's cuzz, den he introduced us to london, checked in one of the hostel near there for gc and tw, (me and jl stayed in his cuzz hse cuz his hse couldnt fit so much) took the tube (underground train similar to mrt in sg) to baker st. where we met some of his frens.. all asians thou.. den some of his kakis wanted to meet in another pub.. we went to the apollo where he treated us to some sharer, jus some chicken and meat.. the bartender was cute and hot.. lol.. even his frens realised.. oh one of his frens, this cool dude.. he drove a bmw z4.. wad the fuck rite? oh man.. den jewel's cuzz brought us ard chinatown, leicester sq, covent garden and stuffs.. sat at a costa cafe.. planned where we were supposed to do next.. den he left us in london, where we could haf some free and easy time.. walked ard oxford circus and picadilly circus, took some pics of buckingham palace.. tiring.. had dinner in one of the chinese restaurants in chinatown.. hang ard the area.. where we saw these bunch of niggas beat up an english man.. lol.. damn nice.. all the niggas were like.. "go go. .beat him" we walked out of there.. and waited for jl's cuzz... he drove us home.. where he stays, north london, is the heart of arsernal.. damn it. i wished he was staying in manchester.. bathed den slp le..
